7 Best iPhone Duo Accessories to Buy While You Wait for Your Pre-Order

Introduction

With massive anticipation surrounding Apple's first foldable device, the iPhone Duo, eager buyers are facing significant wait times for their pre-orders. Because shipping dates stretching out into next year are becoming common for this $1,999 investment, you have plenty of time to gear up. Apple's foray into the dual-screen foldable market unlocks an entirely new category of customized add-ons. Drawing from extensive testing of flagship devices and foldable alternatives, here are the top 7 iPhone Duo accessories worth investing in right now.

1. BMX Duo 5,000mAh Power Bank

You cannot simply attach any standard MagSafe power bank to the back of the iPhone Duo. BMX has engineered a specialized 5,000 mAh power bank tailored precisely to the foldable's unique squat footprint without overhanging the bottom edge. Featuring a semi-solid-state battery cell for superior thermal efficiency and safety, it delivers 15W wireless charging, 20W wired top-offs via USB-C, and includes a built-in kickstand.

2. Apple Pencil (USB-C)

Apple has confirmed that the iPhone Duo natively supports the Apple Pencil, transforming the expansive 7.8-inch inner display into a canvas for productivity. Whether you prefer natural pen-to-paper note-taking, sketching, or document markup, the Apple Pencil is essential. It recharges quickly via a direct USB-C connection to the device.

3. Satechi OntheGo 7-in-1 Multiport Adapter

Maximize the multitasking capabilities of your foldable workstation with the Satechi OntheGo MagSafe adapter. This puck-sized dongle securely snaps to the rear magnetic ring, providing an HDMI port, full-size USB-A, SD and microSD card slots, USB-C pass-through charging, and a 1Gbps Ethernet port.

4. Ohsnap MCON Bluetooth Controller

Transform your foldable into a portable gaming console similar to a modern Nintendo Switch. Unlike bulky clamp-style controllers, the MCON attaches via MagSafe, ensuring perfect balance whether you are playing on the outer cover display or the full 7.8-inch inner screen. It features tactile analog sticks, responsive triggers, a proper D-pad, and a base that doubles as a tabletop kickstand.

5. ZAGG Glass 4-Way Privacy XTR Screen Protector

Protect your privacy during commutes with ZAGG's advanced privacy screen protector. Designed specifically for the 5.5-inch outer cover screen, it completely blacks out viewing angles from the left, right, top, and bottom in both portrait and landscape modes, ensuring your personal data stays hidden from prying eyes.

6. Spigen Tough Armor Pro S MagFit

Because foldable devices feature delicate dual-screen chassis and exposed hinges, drop protection is paramount. Spigen's Tough Armor Pro S MagFit offers a shock-absorbing TPU interior, Air Cushion corners, and a rugged polycarbonate shell built to military-grade drop standards, all while retaining a built-in kickstand and full MagSafe compatibility.

7. PopSockets Low-Pro Grip

For a secure hold on the wider iPhone Duo without adding bulk to your pockets, the PopSockets Low-Pro Grip is an ideal choice. Measuring just 2.6mm thick, it features an aluminum base and a stainless-steel kick-out hinge that securely props up the foldable in both orientations for hands-free viewing.
