Excitement is reaching a fever pitch for the final installment of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy. With a worldwide release scheduled for April 8, 2027, on PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series, and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, Square Enix is ensuring that the hype train remains firmly on track. Recently, the publisher delivered fantastic news for the French gaming community: Cloud Strife and his companions are heading to the Paris Games Week (PGW) 2026.
A Major Appearance at Paris Games Week 2026
Following a successful tour of major global gaming events including the Summer Game Fest, Gamescom, and the Tokyo Game Show, Final Fantasy VII Revelation is set to make a splash in the French capital. The event will take place from October 22 to October 25, 2026, offering fans a rare opportunity to get an up-close look at the highly anticipated conclusion to the saga.
Where and How to Experience the Game
Square Enix has confirmed that the title will be featured at two distinct locations during the exhibition:
- The Bandai Namco Booth: Attendees will be treated to a cinematic showcase where they can view the game's stunning visuals on a massive screen.
- The Nintendo Booth: For those eager to get hands-on, the Nintendo section will host eight dedicated stations allowing players to test the game directly on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 hardware.
Exclusive Presentation by Naoki Hamaguchi
The highlight of the event for many will undoubtedly be the appearance of the game's director, Naoki Hamaguchi. He is scheduled to grace the main stage of the Nintendo booth on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 3:45 PM for a special presentation. This session promises to offer deeper insights into the development of the game, including the promised vast open-world exploration via the Highwind and the epic battles against the legendary Weapons.
While the prospect of lengthy queues is high given the limited number of playable stations, this remains a landmark moment for French fans to experience the ambition of Square Enix's final chapter before its 2027 launch.
