As Halloween approaches, Amazon Prime Video's top 10 movie chart is filled with chilling thrills and spooky choices. After sorting through the platform's weekly hits, we've identified the top three films that are truly deserving of your time.

While the top 10 isn't always packed with all-time classics, this week's highlights offer a fantastic mix. Our top picks feature an emotional drama led by Margaret Qualley, a fresh installment in a legendary horror series, and a lighthearted criminal caper starring Stanley Tucci.

These selections reflect Prime Video's top 10 rankings as of Monday, October 19, 2026. Grab your favorite snacks and get ready to experience a range of emotions with these standout films.

1. 'Love of Your Life' (2026)

If you're in the mood for a heavy tearjerker, this new drama is worth a watch. Following nurse Maya (Margaret Qualley) after a pandemic-related tragedy in Boston, she relocates to Europe to become a reclusive digital nomad. Instead of finding peace, Maya drifts through unfulfilling casual relationships that only heighten her grief.

Qualley delivers a powerful lead performance, supported by a strong cast featuring Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aaron Pierre, and Gabriel Basso. The globe-trotting plot spans Lisbon, Luxembourg, and Tokyo and boasts gorgeous cinematography. Notably produced by Ryan Gosling, this sincere and well-meaning drama offers a heartfelt journey, though action fans shouldn't expect a fast-paced thriller.

2. 'Scream 7' (2026)

Sidney Prescott makes a triumphant return to the iconic horror franchise after star Neve Campbell sat out the previous entry. As one of the original final girls, seeing Campbell back on screen to battle another iteration of Ghostface is a treat. Even seven movies deep, the franchise retains its killer instincts.

This installment presents a fresh chapter for Sidney, who is now happily married and a protective mother to Tatum (Isabel May). Her suburban peace is shattered when a new—or perhaps familiar—Ghostface emerges. The film playfully incorporates modern themes like AI deepfakes, leading to surprising cameos, an unforgettable opening scene at the original house, and a brutal kill sequence reminiscent of Final Destination.

3. 'Masterplan' (2026)

Stanley Tucci's charm shines brightly in this breezy, good-natured crime comedy. Following an initial heist in Lake Como, Italy, Tucci's character heads to Paris alongside ambitious thieves Chiara (Simona Tabasco) and Jay (Victor Belmondo) to pull off the ultimate heist: stealing the Mona Lisa from the Louvre.

The film quickly introduces an intriguing twist regarding the relationship between Chiara and Jay, adding extra layers to the caper. With Tucci delivering his signature charisma, 'Masterplan' is an entertaining and lighthearted watch.
