Square Enix Announces Special Final Fantasy X Trading Card Collection for the 25th Anniversary

Celebrating 25 Years of Spira's Journey

It has been a quarter of a century since the unforgettable adventure of Tidus, Yuna, and their companions first captured the hearts of JRPG fans worldwide. Originally launched in July 2001 on the PlayStation 2, Final Fantasy X remains a towering milestone in gaming history. As the very first entry in the legendary franchise to feature full voice acting, it revolutionized storytelling, charmed players with its groundbreaking visuals, deep turn-based combat system, and an emotionally resonant soundtrack that still echoes in the memories of gamers.

While fans continue to hope for a new entry or perhaps a modern patch to polish character models in the HD remaster, Square Enix is marking this major milestone with a wave of exclusive merchandise. Alongside global vinyl releases and Japan-exclusive artbooks, the publisher has unveiled a magnificent surprise tailored specifically for collectors and tabletop enthusiasts: a special commemorative card collection tied to the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game (FFTCG).
