Local elections 2026: the Var branch of the National Rally announces its support for Guillaume Decard's list in Puget-sur-Argens
Support in the final stretch. With the first round of municipal elections fast approaching, Frank Giletti, MP for the 6th constituency of Var and also the RN's departmental delegate, announced the party's support for Guillaume Decard, the mayoral candidate in Puget-sur-Argens, in a press release published on Monday, March 9th. The person most directly concerned welcomes this support in the name of "the union of the right."
Guillaume Decard is currently deputy mayor of Saint-Raphaël in charge of culture and youth, and also vice-president of the Var Departmental Council.
"In Puget-sur-Argens, National Rally voters can fully identify with the candidacy of Guillaume Decard, who is leading a broad coalition list, bringing together all patriotic sensibilities, with respect for individuals and with a single objective: to serve Puget-sur-Argens and its inhabitants," writes Frank Giletti.
Three lists in the running
Contacted by BFM this Monday, Guillaume Decard, who is also president of the Var Tourism organization, says "I welcome the National Rally's position regarding [my] candidacy." Representing the "Union of the Right Serving Puget-sur-Argens" list, Guillaume Decard will face Martine Arenas (independent right) of the "New Future for Puget" list and Noël Azzopardi (independent right) of the "Our Project is You" list this Sunday.
