The actor who played Pete died at the age of 60 on Thursday, March 5, in Memphis, Tennessee, from cancer. The news was announced by his aunt, Emily Parker, in the American tabloid TMZ. The son of Rocky Parker, an American actress, acting coach, and agent, he made his first appearance on the big screen in another horror film, Scream for Help, in 1984.

It wasn't until 1992 that Corey Parker landed his first leading role in the television series Flying Blind, in which he played a recent graduate married to a free-spirited woman.
