7 Best iPhone Duo Accessories to Buy While You Wait for Your Pre-Order

With tremendous anticipation surrounding Apple’s revolutionary iPhone Duo, current pre-order shipping dates indicate that many buyers might have to wait months to finally get their hands on the company's first foldable device. While a prolonged wait can test any tech enthusiast's patience, investing $1,999 in Apple's dual-screen debut gives you plenty of runway to gather the best gear to complement it.

Because the iPhone Duo introduces an entirely new foldable form factor to Apple's ecosystem, standard phone add-ons won't always cut it. From protective gear designed for delicate hinges to high-end productivity peripherals, here are the top 7 iPhone Duo accessories you should buy right now.

1. BMX Duo 5,000 mAh Power Bank

You cannot simply snap any ordinary MagSafe power bank onto the back of a foldable phone without awkward overhangs. BMX has solved this with its Duo 5,000 mAh power bank, custom-tailored to the foldable's squat footprint. Utilizing an advanced semi-solid-state battery cell, it drastically improves thermal efficiency and safety compared to standard lithium-ion packs. Combined with 15W wireless charging, 20W wired USB-C top-offs, and a built-in kickstand, it is a must-have everyday carry essential.

2. Apple Pencil (USB-C)

Apple has confirmed full support for the Apple Pencil on the iPhone Duo, allowing you to maximize the expansive 7.8-inch inner display. Whether you prefer the tactile feel of jotting down digital notes over pecking at a virtual keyboard or need precise input for detailed sketching and document markups, the Apple Pencil charges seamlessly via a direct USB-C connection.

3. Satechi OntheGo 7-in-1 Multiport Adapter

Transform your foldable into a full-fledged workstation with the Satechi OntheGo MagSafe adapter. This puck-sized dongle securely magnets to the back of your device, delivering an HDMI port, full-size USB-A, SD and microSD card slots, USB-C pass-through charging, and a 1Gbps Ethernet port for ultimate mobile productivity.

4. Ohsnap MCON Bluetooth Controller

Mobile gamers will find Ohsnap's MCON Bluetooth controller to be an absolute game-changer. Attaching securely via MagSafe instead of clumsy mechanical side clamps, it keeps the iPhone Duo perfectly balanced on both the outer screen and the 7.8-inch inner display. It effectively turns Apple's foldable into a modern Nintendo Switch alternative complete with tactile analog sticks and responsive shoulder triggers.

5. ZAGG Glass 4-Way Privacy XTR Screen Protector

Keep prying eyes away during busy commutes with ZAGG's advanced privacy screen protector. Designed specifically for the 5.5-inch outer cover screen, it utilizes specialized filtering to black out viewing angles from the left, right, top, and bottom in both portrait and landscape modes.
