Epic Games Store: Two New Free Games Available to Keep Forever

Discover the Latest Free Offerings on the Epic Games Store

The Epic Games Store continues its tradition of surprising PC gamers by offering new titles entirely free of charge. Starting today, players can expand their digital library with two distinct games that can be kept forever. Available from 17:00, these titles cater to completely different tastes, ranging from chilling horror to cozy strategy and management.

Out of Sight: A Unique Horror Experience

As the spooky season approaches, the Epic Games Store is getting players into the Halloween spirit with Out of Sight. Developed by The Gang and published by Starbreeze, this indie horror FPS offers a fresh perspective on the genre. Players step into the shoes of Sophie, a young blind girl who navigates a dark, ominous mansion by perceiving the world through the eyes of her teddy bear, Teddy. The gameplay relies heavily on sound cues and spatial awareness to solve puzzles and evade captors. With its unsettling atmosphere and captivating narrative reminiscent of acclaimed titles like Little Nightmares, it is a must-play for thrill-seekers. This game is free to claim until October 15.

TerraScape: A Cozy and Strategic City-Builder

For those looking for a more relaxing experience, the second offering is TerraScape, a cozy city-builder developed by Bitfall Studios. Blending traditional city-building mechanics with deck-building elements, players use cards to place buildings and manage resources across diverse landscapes. The game encourages strategic placement to help a modest settlement flourish into a thriving empire. Featuring a peaceful pace, players can enjoy the experience solo, dive into cooperative or competitive multiplayer modes, or unleash their creativity in a dedicated sandbox mode. It provides the ultimate relaxing puzzle-like gameplay loop and is available for free alongside Out of Sight.

What to Expect Next Week

The weekly rotation of free games remains one of the most anticipated events for the PC gaming community. While players have until October 15 to secure Out of Sight and TerraScape, Epic Games will announce the upcoming mystery titles later today at 17:00, keeping players eagerly guessing about what comes next.
