IKEA's Holiday Lighting Collection: 5 Cozy Home Finds Under $20

Illuminate Your Home for Less

As the air turns crisp and the days grow shorter, the shift in seasons signals that the holidays are just around the corner. To combat the early sunsets and embrace the cozy indoor atmosphere, IKEA has officially launched its highly anticipated festive lighting collection. The retailer's Strala series is designed to infuse your living space with warmth, glow, and a touch of holiday magic without breaking the bank.

Whether you are looking to create a serene reading nook or simply want to add a soft, inviting ambiance to your living room, these affordable finds are perfect for the upcoming season. As someone who loves updating my home decor for the holidays, I have curated a list of five standout items, all priced under $20.

1. STRÅLA LED Table Decoration Star

Lanterns serve as an essential element for setting a festive mood, especially during the darker evenings of winter. This star-filled lantern creates a beautiful, soft glow that looks stunning on a windowsill, bookshelf, or coffee table. At just $8, it is a highly accessible way to introduce holiday character into your home.

2. STRÅLA Lamp Shade: Paper Petal Star

If your goal is to make a bold, festive statement, the paper petal star lamp shade is an ideal choice. With its intricate snowflake-like design, it transforms any room into a cozy winter sanctuary. Simply pair it with an LED bulb and cord set to hang it in a corner or above a dining area for an immediate festive atmosphere. It is priced at an affordable $12.

3. STRÅLA LED Lighting Chain (Sparkler Style)

For those who love a bit of sparkle, this LED lighting chain is a versatile decorating tool. Reminiscent of tiny, crackling sparklers, these lights can be draped over a mantelpiece, woven into a holiday tablescape, or used as creative wall decor. Because it is battery-operated, it offers total flexibility—you can even use it to add a festive vibe to an outdoor patio or balcony. This charming set is available for $14.

4. STRÅLA Wooden Block LED Table Decoration (Red)

For a modern, earthy take on the classic candelabra, look no further than this wooden block design. The warm red tones and natural material make it a stylish addition to any decor style, from minimalist to rustic. It is a fantastic piece for adding warmth to your home for $17.

5. STRÅLA LED Candelabra

If you love the look of traditional candles but need a safer alternative for households with children or pets, this LED candelabra is a perfect solution. Featuring four LED sticks that emit a warm, steady glow, it is designed for windowsills or shelves. A built-in timer adds convenience, allowing it to turn on at a set time and automatically switch off after six hours. This festive upgrade is available for $20.50.

These budget-friendly additions from the Strala series prove that you don't need a large budget to create a warm, inviting, and festive home this year. You can explore the full collection of lighting and seasonal decor directly at IKEA.com.
