What's New in 2026?

Though Tess and Claudia have stepped down after 11 years, the revamped show introduces a dynamic new hosting trio: Emma Willis, comedian Josh Widdicombe, and professional South African dancer Johannes Radebe. Meanwhile, judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke, and head judge Shirley Ballas are all returning to critique the contestants.

This year's sequin-decked celebrity lineup features famous faces such as Lacey Turner, Dani Dyer, Delta Goodrem, and former Premier League footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips, all competing for the iconic Glitterball Trophy.

How to Watch 'Strictly Come Dancing 2026' from Anywhere

Because BBC iPlayer is geo-restricted to the U.K., international fans or Brits traveling abroad will need a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to access the stream. A VPN masks your IP address, allowing your device to appear as though it is browsing from within the U.K.

1. Install a VPN: Choose a reliable service like NordVPN, known for reliably unlocking BBC iPlayer.
2. Connect to a U.K. Server: Open the app and select a server located in the United Kingdom.
3. Start Streaming: Head over to the BBC iPlayer website or app, sign in with a valid U.K. postcode and TV license, and enjoy the show!

Watch in the U.K. vs. International Viewing

In the U.K., viewers can watch the live broadcasts on BBC One or catch up on-demand via BBC iPlayer for free (subject to holding a valid TV license). Unfortunately, for fans tuning in from the U.S., Canada, Australia, or anywhere outside the U.K., there are no local linear TV channels or mainstream streaming services broadcasting the show, making a VPN an essential tool for ex-pats and international enthusiasts.
