Netflix Top 10 Movies: 3 Picks Worth Watching This Weekend (September 26-27)

As September draws to a close, film enthusiasts are looking for the perfect movies to cap off the month. While the Netflix top 10 list is constantly fluctuating with new arrivals and trending titles, not every entry is worth your precious weekend time. We have sifted through the current rankings to bring you three standout movies that deliver genuine entertainment value.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2023)

Guy Ritchie returns to his high-octane roots with this vibrant and action-packed war movie. Based on the true story of the British Special Operations Executive during WWII, the film follows an unconventional team assembled by Winston Churchill. Starring Henry Cavill, Eiza González, and Alan Ritchson, it is a pulpy, stylish, and highly entertaining romp that has resonated with audiences, boasting a 91% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. If you enjoy slick action sequences and larger-than-life characters, this is a must-watch.

Best of the Best (2026)

For those in the mood for something lighter, this Bollywood-inspired teen comedy offers a fresh twist on the sports movie genre. Instead of traditional team sports, the film centers on the high-stakes world of competitive fusion dance. Following two best friends as they join a prestigious university dance team, the film captures the competitive spirit of the dance circuit. Featuring stars like Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, it serves as a breezy, fun-filled watch perfect for a relaxed weekend afternoon.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022)

Do not let the animated label fool you; this film is a cinematic triumph. Serving more as a vibrant reboot than a traditional sequel, it masterfully blends the energetic visual style reminiscent of 'Spider-Verse' with a heartfelt, humorous story. Antonio Banderas reprises his iconic role, joined by a stellar voice cast including Florence Pugh and John Mulaney. It is a visually stunning and emotionally resonant adventure that is essential viewing, regardless of whether you have seen the original.

While Netflix's summer lineup has been a mixed bag, these three selections stand out for their quality and watchability. Whether you want a gritty war caper, a lighthearted dance comedy, or a beautifully animated journey, there is something in the top 10 to suit your mood this weekend.
