New on Peacock in October 2026: All the New Shows and Movies to Watch

Spooky season is officially here, and Peacock is rolling out an incredible lineup of new movies, television series, and live sporting events for October 2026. Whether you are looking for terrifying classic horror films, highly anticipated prequels, or lighthearted network comedies, this month's schedule has something tailored for every crisp autumn night.

Top Picks to Watch in October 2026

'3 From Hell'

Rob Zombie's grimy, blood-soaked 'Firefly' trilogy concludes with '3 From Hell', following up on 'House of 1000 Corpses' and 'The Devil's Rejects'. The demented Firefly clan somehow survives their previous shootout, leading Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), Otis (Bill Moseley), and Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig in his final film role) on a brutal, violent rampage down into Mexico. Stream it starting October 1.

'Crystal Lake'

Horror fans rejoice as the 'Friday the 13th' franchise finally receives a proper origin story. 'Crystal Lake' serves as a brand-new Peacock Original prequel series, rewinding the clock to explore the life of Pamela Voorhees (Linda Cardellini) before and after her son Jason tragically drowns at summer camp. The series promises to dive deep into the grief and twisted psychological origins of one of cinema's most famous slasher legends starting October 15.

'Newlyweds'

For those seeking a break from the scares, the new NBC comedy 'Newlyweds' brings real-life couple Téa Leoni and Tim Daly together on screen. Playing free-spirited Jeanie and academic James, who marry on a whim, the series follows the hilarious and messy reality of merging two adult lives together. Co-created by Jamie Lee Curtis—who also stars as James's sharp-tongued ex-wife—this multi-camera comedy arrives on October 24.
