Prime Gaming Unveils October 2026 Free Game Lineup Featuring Iconic Classics

Amazon's Prime Gaming service has officially kicked off its October 2026 campaign, offering subscribers a substantial wave of free titles to add to their permanent collections. As the gaming community prepares for the spooky season, Amazon has curated a selection of titles that perfectly capture the Halloween spirit, with several legendary hits leading the charge.

A Strong Start to October

Prime Gaming continues its tradition of providing high-quality gaming experiences at no additional cost to members. For the first week of October, four distinct titles have been made available: the visceral shooter DOOM (2016), the atmospheric horror title Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit, the Lovecraftian adventure Conarium, and the classic strategy game WarBreeds. These titles are currently claimable through their respective platforms, including GOG and the Epic Games Store.

Spotlight on Iconic Titles

Among the highlights of this month's selection, the reboot of id Software's masterpiece, DOOM (2016), stands out. A decade after its initial release, this title remains the gold standard for high-octane, single-player FPS campaigns, featuring a legendary soundtrack by Mick Gordon and brutal, fast-paced combat on the surface of Mars. Alongside it, fans of the horror genre can dive into Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit. Departing from the franchise's traditional 3D perspective, this 2024 release delivers a fresh 2D pixel-art experience that retains the intense, nerve-wracking atmosphere the series is known for.
