Editor's Top Picks: Must-Watch Releases

While dozens of titles have arrived, a few stand out as essential viewing. Whether you are in the mood for high-stakes crime, musical fantasy, or primetime sports, these are the highlights.

Tuner (2026) – Now on Paramount+

For fans of gritty crime thrillers, Tuner is a standout addition. The film follows Niki (played by Leo Woodall), a piano tuner's apprentice under the mentorship of Harry Horowitz (Dustin Hoffman). Niki's life takes a sharp turn when he discovers that the meticulous skills required to tune a piano are surprisingly applicable to cracking high-security safes. After a chance encounter with a group of thieves, Niki is lured into a world of professional crime for the promise of financial security.

Why it's a must-watch: Critics have hailed Tuner as one of the year's most overlooked gems. The tension is palpable, and the safecracking sequences are described as 'electric,' making it a perfect choice for those who enjoy precision-based heist films.

Wicked (2024) – Now on Hulu

The cinematic adaptation of the beloved Broadway sensation arrives on Hulu, bringing the magical Land of Oz to life before the events of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The story focuses on the complex friendship between the misunderstood Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) and the ambitious Galinda (Ariana Grande).

Why it's a must-watch: This first installment of the duology has received near-universal acclaim and a Best Picture nomination. With showstopping musical numbers like 'Defying Gravity' and powerhouse performances from Erivo and Grande, it is a visual and auditory feast for fantasy lovers.

Monday Night Football: NY Giants vs. LA Rams – ESPN Unlimited

Sports fans can tune in to a critical early-season clash as the New York Giants travel to Los Angeles to face the Rams. With the Giants currently holding a 1-0 record and the Rams fighting to recover from a 0-1 start, the stakes are unexpectedly high for this primetime showdown.
