Deciding what to watch in the era of peak TV can be an overwhelming experience. With a staggering array of platforms competing for your attention, the 'endless scroll' has become a common ritual. To save you time and frustration, we have scoured the latest additions across the major platforms—including Netflix, Paramount+, Hulu, Peacock, and PVOD services—to bring you a comprehensive guide for September 22.

Editor's Top Picks: Must-Watch Titles

While dozens of titles have arrived, a few stand out as essential viewing for tonight. Whether you are looking for nostalgic comedy or high-stakes tension, these are our primary recommendations.

'Party Down' (Seasons 1-3) – Now on Netflix

Genre: Situational Comedy
The Plot: This cult classic follows a group of aspiring actors and writers who work for Party Down Catering to make ends meet. Led by the eccentric Ron Donald, the team navigates a series of bizarre catering events where hilarity and professional desperation collide.

Why It's a Must-Watch: After an initial run that was cut short due to the skyrocketing fame of stars Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation) and Jane Lynch (Glee), the series received a long-awaited revival in 2023. With seasons 1 through 3 now available on Netflix, viewers can experience the complete trajectory of this sharp, witty ensemble comedy.

'Line of Fire' (2026) – Now on Peacock

Genre: Action Thriller
The Plot: Starring Peter Krause and Hope Davis, this series centers on a family of law enforcement professionals. When a deadly conspiracy emerges, Secret Service Agent Mike Hollingsworth and Deputy U.S. Marshal Jane Hollingsworth must reconcile their strained family ties to protect their children and stop a national threat.

Why It's a Must-Watch: For fans of D.C.-based conspiracy thrillers like 'Quantico,' this is a perfect fit. Peter Krause brings his seasoned dramatic intensity from '9-1-1' to a show that blends police procedural elements with complex family dynamics.

'Super Troopers 3' (2026) – Available via PVOD

Genre: Comedy
The Plot: The legendary state troopers return for a chaotic new chapter. This time, the plot revolves around Thorny's attempt to stop his sister Sarita from marrying Farva, leading to the trademark mayhem the series is known for.

Why It's a Must-Watch: While the series is known for its absurdist humor, the third installment manages to attract high-caliber talent, including the acclaimed Brian Cox. If you enjoyed the first two films, this is an easy addition to your movie night.
