Apple's All-New HomeView Smart Home Hub Leaked Ahead of Event — Alongside New Apple 4K TV and HomePod mini 2

Introduction to Apple's Upcoming Smart Home Showcase

Apple is gearing up to host its highly anticipated 'Welcome Home' hardware event, focusing heavily on a brand-new ecosystem of smart home devices. Ahead of the official keynote, major leaks courtesy of industry insiders like Bloomberg's Mark Gurman have revealed a slate of exciting new products designed to seamlessly tie your living space together. Leading the charge is an entirely new category device called the HomeView, alongside long-overdue updates to the Apple TV 4K and the HomePod mini.

The Apple HomeView Smart Home Hub

Designed to bridge the gap in Apple's smart home strategy, the upcoming HomeView is rumored to function as the ultimate household control center. Unlike a standard tablet mounted to a stand, the HomeView pairs an immersive interface with robust audio engineering. Powered by an A18 chip and 8GB of RAM, it utilizes advanced Siri AI for seamless voice control and automation.

The device will reportedly be available in two distinct form factors: a tabletop version and a wall-mounted variation featuring a flat, square wall plate with an integrated speaker. Color options include Gray, Silver, Starlight, and Rose (though wall-mounted variants may be restricted to Gray and Silver). While officially unveiled tomorrow, reports indicate a mid-November release window, with companion accessories like smart doorbells, thermostats, and floodlight cameras launching later in the year.

Refreshed Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini 2

In addition to the HomeView hub, Apple is set to refresh its popular streaming and audio hardware. The new Apple TV 4K keeps its classic exterior footprint but packs powerful internal upgrades, including the A17 Pro chip, 8GB of RAM, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6 support, alongside a potential revamp of the Siri Remote. Meanwhile, the HomePod mini 2 is expected to upgrade its core processor to the S10 chip—borrowed from the Apple Watch Series 10—while introducing vibrant new colorways like Green, Pink, and Midnight.
