Pixel 11 Phones to Feature Gemini Intelligence Calling Assistant

Google's upcoming Pixel 11 smartphones are set to introduce a groundbreaking Gemini Intelligence feature known as "Call For Me." This experimental tool is designed to make phone calls on behalf of users, handling routine tasks like appointment bookings, checking product inventory, and making dinner reservations without requiring manual dialing or enduring long hold music. Integrated directly into the Gemini app, the feature provides live transcripts, allowing users to monitor progress and potentially step in if unprompted questions arise. Initially rolling out as a preview exclusively for Gemini paid subscribers with a Pixel 11 enrolled in the Phone by Google Public Beta in the U.S., this innovation offers a welcome solution for introverts and time-conscious users alike.
